These discussions produced and available on RNZ - for however long they elevate “whiteness” in music - are wonderfully enjoyable to listen to.
Marshall Walker, who grew up in Glasgow and died in NZ, wrote the touching radio play: Dear Sibelius, Letters from a Junkie, which RNZ still has available to hear.
Walker has since died, sadly (in 2014), but his discussions on the classical music that was deeply meaningful to him over his entire life are an absolute joy on the ear - his eruditeness alone is worth the price of admission, which is free.
