Right-wing conservatives promote "family values" and "traditional values" while left-wing progressives promote "multicultural" and "politically correct" ones. In advocating these, the Right is mostly serving (what they call) god, but partially upholding the collective, while the Left is mostly serving (what they call) the collective, but partially upholding god.

Both failed ideology groups are self-sacrificial above all else. Theirs is the moral code of anti-individualism and personal destruction. What this means in practice is that ultimately both conservatives and progressives are looking to badly hurt all us all. If widely and profoundly enacted in society, their false and evil philosophies -- their pseudo-idealism and mistaken utopianism -- wouldn't actually benefit particular families or favored "minorities." Rather, their attack on the center of society -- the health, prosperity, and happiness of the individual -- would lead to the mental and physical destruction of every person on Earth. If their shared ethical theories and beliefs were practiced completely and consistently this would cause universal human annihilation.

But it doesn't have to be this way. There's more to the world philosophically than the leftover remnants of the French Revolution. Besides the pitiful and erroneous right-wing conservatives and left-wing progressives of the Napoleonic French Assembly, there's now also the up-wing neoliberals.

What they champion -- and what is desperately needed today -- are individualist values. True liberals promote an ethical code and value system based on the individual first, last, most, and always. Liberals overwhelmingly focus on his life, health, prosperity, and happiness -- his accomplishments, greatness, and triumph. A proper morality of individualism is all the things right-wing conservatism and left-wing progressivism aren't: intelligent, insightful, and wise; and founded on rationality, truth, and reality.

Placing a small family, or a multicultural horde, above the Sacred Self is a severe error. "Values" need to be valuable to the individual -- to the fulfillment of his potential and the realization of his greatness. To his personal pleasures and private victories. To his sacred meaning and purpose.

The group -- whether a modest one of kinsmen, or a magnificent one involving all of mankind -- is ancillary to his life and joy. They come second -- or even last. A proper society always places personal values above social ones. The Holy Individual comes first in any hierarchy of values.

As the 1700s classical liberal era taught us, proper people live for their own sakes, and exist for their own wondrous delight. They aren't a means to an end. They do not serve others and sacrifice themselves. Every Individual is truly sacred -- a god for the collective to serve.
