I've looked for this clip via YT and was delighted to find it because it shows something unusual. When Hilary Hahn plays this outstanding concerto, in the moments when the orchestra takes over and she as the sololist pauses, she turns around to watch them play - and with a look of such sublime satisfaction and pride. I absolutely love her!
(You'll have to excuse the "far-out-man-intense" consumate wanker NZer Jeremy Wells, who is the interviewer asking her the most insipid questions, he is waaay out of his depth and past his ken.)
