The GSCB Bill is a breach of the principle of individual rights to privacy, consent and civil liberties and thereby inexcusable to allow or accept it. We are not at war nor are we in a "state of emergency" where occasionally these principles and rights may be temporarily lifted for the safety and protection of citizens. This is an attempt to impose a permanent law which people are expected to accept and live with forever (supposedly). If people accept and live with this kind of thing then it can be supposed that they will live with, and accept, almost any kind of removal of their civil liberties and privacy. Disguised as a "protection measure" against terrorism, it is also the potentially invidious beginning to an onset of government oppression.
If allowed to proceed to legislation, the government will be assured that its citizens are a dumbed-down, unthinking population - a society of silent robots, zombies and vegetables in the hands of power-seeking, despotic people. This sort of society can be assuredly later manipulated and controlled in any which way a freedom-stealing government desires. Tyranny sneaks in slowly - modern warfare is not a ground battle any longer, it is a battle of ideas through politics.
This Bill must not go unchallenged. People must not accept this invidious liberty-stealing and oppression from its servant, the government.
