The War Against Islam and Objectivism

The people who are fighting Islam are brave and courageous people, but from what I can see most of them lack the positive weapons to win the battle. For example, Robert Spencer is a Catholic and Ann Barnhardt, a Christian. Even Pamela Geller, although she has Ayn Rand on the radar, often fights from a defensive position. Can they defeat an aggressive, all-encompassing ideology that is well-organized, financed and knows what it wants to achieve?

The perfect response to Islam is Objectivism—submission and individual subjugation versus individual empowerment and individualism. A strong Ayn Rand-type of Objectivism could draw in all those who aspire to individualism, and attract those of the Muslim world, like Wafa Sultan, who are fighting against this medieval, barbaric ideology.

However, with people like Peikoff, Binswanger, Biddle and Schwartz in the saddle there is no leadership. Ed Hudgins—and his Muslim nanny who loves her Jewish children—is such a soft, syrupy and appeasing distortion of Ayn Rand’s message that he deserves to be sent to a social Guantanamo.

In other words, we are in combat with weak ammunition and no operational plan to defeat the enemy. The hordes are striking down on us and my bleeping M-16 is jamming. What do I do?

Tommy Robinson, of the EDL, is a real warrior, an Irish street guy with a lot of guts. In the sixties, when I started in Objectivism, I thought there would be thousands of guys like Tommy Robinson as Objectivists. What happened?
