But it's somewhat depressing and defeatist, so I recently gave it a new ending. My idea was to omit the downbeat stuff and replace it with something upbeat -- like the beginning of the story. Here it is: http://liberalinstitute.com/Hu...
But after I wrote it, I realized I had omitted roughly the last 65% of Rand's rather sacred words. That didn't seem right. So I gave it another new ending, but this time retaining about the first 97% of the original story. Here it is: http://liberalinstitute.com/Hu...
