Autonomy and democracy are asinine and depraved social and political ideals. Government based upon self-rule or majority-rule is fatuous, evil, and massively failed as institutions. All such existing polities need to be ruthlessly and brutally crushed.
The only intellectually and morally correct social and political ideal is freedom. If autonomy and democracy ever clash with individual liberty, then autonomy and democracy have to give way immediately and entirely.
Individual freedom is idealistic and pragmatic perfection in all aspects of government and law. Stated more broadly, every living human being and society needs and deserves limitless freedom -- untouched and unchecked liberty, justice, and individual rights for all.
All mentally competent and physically adult individuals -- who aren't themselves rights-violators or freedom-tramplers -- have an absolute, infinite, and sacrosanct right to live in personal, social, and economic liberty forever. No one, or no group, has even the minutest temporary right to limit another's freedom in even the tiniest and most inconsequential way.
Even if the societal or political group is a duly-constituted and fully-legitimate government, which is completely representative of the local residents, and totally controlled by a citizenship majority, this group and government still has absolutely zero right to take away any personal liberty or individual rights from anyone at any time under any circumstances.
Such a thing would constitute tyranny. It would be an act of immorality and criminality which would be deserving of instant and utter obliteration.
Individual freedom is sacred and limitless. It's beyond any microscopic possibility of local popular review, scrutiny, or amendation.
